About Us

Samehunduans is an old school rock and roll band from Maun (Botswana). The band was formed in Moremi Game Reserve in 2012 at Samahundu campsite (Botswana Guides Association) and that where the name” Samehunduans” was actually derived from.

Samehunduans have such a strong rhythm of true classic riffs that will remind you of the late Lemmy Kilmester of Motorhead surely the guys know what they are doing since they are old time friends, musicians and former members of great Botswana rock bands including Skeletal Saints, Remuda, Simple Sex, Barren Barrel, Disciplinary and Wrust with such experience they give the best performance.

Samehunduans is a Three-piece band born and bred in Maun Mr. Kebonyemodisa Molamu aka “Twisted Samahue” (Matomo ward) (founder, drummer and composer) Mr. Mmueledi Ditlou aka Kit Molina Moonlight(Riverside ward) on bass and back vocals Lamek Bafentse aka “Lemmy Bitch house”(Kubung ward) on guitars, vocals and they have their long-time friend born in Germany and lived half of his life in Maun Mr. Thomas Perschil aka “Long-Nose”(Lekawa ward) on technical field, support and band spiritual advisor. The Band is currently working on their very first record to be released by end of April.


The Band has played a number of shows across Botswana including the Major Annual Overthrust Winter mania Charity show in Gantsi, Maun International Arts and Culture festival (Poetavango), Department of Environmental affairs (World Wetlands Day) and Maun Rock the Nation Festival (Rock Against Gender Based Violence festival). The Band has gone through thick and thin a number of serious commitment issues gone through by the band all in the love of Rock and Roll among those they travelled around Botswana attending shows on”Longnose’s 1976 2h station wagon Landcruiser officially named Samehunduan limozine. One of the band major memorable moment is crossing Central Kalahari Game Reserve from Maun via Matswere gate to Gaborone living a wilderness limozine adventure for a week just to attend and perform a live rock and roll festival.
